Visible, valuable and vocal!

Prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

The Alcohol and Drug Council of Tompkins County (ADC) has been helping others for the past 50 years. Addiction is something that can affect anyone, and often can do so silently for many years with the individual suffering immensely. However, addiction can also have enormous negative impacts on children, families, and other relationships.

Here at the ADC, we tackle this issue from all sides.  Through preventative tactics, we bring up to date  and accurate information to kids, teens, and others so that they know the facts about substances and not just what they hear on TV or the internet. We offer treatment and opportunities for recovery in the forms of group and individual sessions for those already in the midst of addiction itself or trying to remain sober.
Donating to this campaign will help ensure that we can not only continue these efforts, but also do so with more effective and up to date tools and materials.
