About OutReach Coordinator
Our growing nonprofit is looking for an AmeriCorps VISTA OutReach Coordinator interested in opportunities to learn through experience about community outreach.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the coordinator will build the capacity of AKEEP by (a) developing sound communication channels with the schools of local low-income communities, (b) building a database of contacts, (c) regularly update and maintain the contact database system, and (d) strengthening AKEEP's relationship with low income communities and generate interest in Korean Language and Culture programs and BUD Youth Projects offered by AKEEP.
Requirements:
- Establish an AKEEP Outreach Protocol System
- Recruit students for AKEEP-Language and Culture summer camp
- Maintain communication with community stakeholders
- Perform annual evaluation and analysis
- Improve the volunteer training procedure
Knowledge of Korean language a bonus!
