About APLA Food Bank- Long Beach

APLA has grown to become one of the largest and most effective AIDS service organizations in the nation. The Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) provides groceries to over 1,700 clients that are on a limited income. We have a number of opportunities for volunteers such as distributing groceries to clients, pre-bagging groceries, filing and stocking shelves.
o Long Beach (St. Mary’s Medical Center) Tuesdays from 10 AM to 5 PM. Available Shifts-: 9:15a-12p or 1:15p-4:30p.
Application Process
Food Bank Volunteers are required to submit a current TB test for this program.
