About ACS School Supply Giveaway

The purpose of this event is to assist needy families in providing their children with school supplies and uniforms.

Volunteers will help set up the rooms for the event, serve as greeters, register attendees, escort or direct people to the various "stations," help distribute items, take pictures, keep records, serve as interpreters (occasionally), assist with refreshments, and supervise children who are playing games or who are on the rented playground equipment.

The event will take place on July 16 from noon to 5 pm at West Point Seventh Day Adventist Church (1504 Hwy 45-alt).

Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age, hardworking, dependable, honest, punctual, and people-oriented. Knowledge of Spanish is encouraged.
