About Social Media Coordinator

Beginning January 16, 2015 an international team of athletes will cross the United States on foot with the goal of inspiring a generation to lead active lives. We need a social media coordinator who will publish irresistible posts on Facebook and Twitter that will attract runners, donations and media attention. You can select from a sizeable list of articles that have already been curated. Or, you can find your own! The key is to write a short introduction to the article that makes the links "clickable". To start, we are looking for someone to post twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). These posts can be made anytime day or night. Later, we would like to expand this role to make posts daily. However, this volunteer position won't take more than 5 to 10 minutes a day (tops!) once you get the hang of it. And, you will be making a difference for one of the most significant health threats of our time - childhood obesity. Only basic computer skills needed. We will train you!
