YES Public Safety and Violence Prevention Summit

The Teen Public Safety and Violence Prevention Summit will convene teens to strategize on ways to address the recent uptick in violence.

A fundraising campaign for Youth Enrichment Services

The summit aims to convene teens and young adults in the city of Pittsburgh and Mon Valley to strategize with experts, law enforcement professionals, community service leaders, and other stakeholders regarding ways to address the uptick in gun violence and public safety hazards that continue to plague the young people and families in our city, along with the associated destruction of human life and property that accompanies such episodes. Mayor Ed Gainey will be present to welcome everyone to the event. The event will also include morning breakout sessions relating to a variety of topics within this issue, an afternoon panel to discuss themes from the morning sessions, and a keynote address to wrap up the day. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all registered participants.
