Support Women's Rowing!

A fundraising campaign for Canisius University

Help Women's Rowing score big in 2018-19!

Gifts to Women's Rowing last year helped make the 2017-18 campaign a remarkable chapter in the history books!

The rowing program started the 2017-18 academic year with a new head coach, as Kerri Brace, former head coach at the University at Buffalo, took over the Golden Griffin program.

Both the Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats finished second at the Mercyhurst Invitational on Oct. 7. Canisius had a pair of strong showings in two spring events (as of April 18), including a second-place finish at the 52nd annual Kerr Cup in Philadelphia April 14.

The Griffs were picked to finish third in 2018 MAAC  Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The 2018 MAAC Rowing Championship May 13, in Edison, N.J.

All of our successes were possible because of the donors who supported our program last year by providing the resources our team needed to succeed on the water and in the classroom.

Your support of this campaign will help Women's Rowing -

Update their equipment -including their fleet of boats, purchase new oars, new bikes for their indoor training space.

We’d also like to allocate some funds to training, rehab and recovery, including foam rollers, bands & yoga mats.
