When Mother Nature Calls...

...you can't put her on hold! Provide a clean, wheelchair accessible porta-john at Ithaca Children's Garden.

A fundraising campaign for Ithaca Children's Garden

Your Garden, your opportunity

Ithaca Children's Garden’s gates are never locked for a good reason: it belongs to everyone. Tots giggle in the grasses, birds twitter among the reeds, and children swing between tree branches. We all find our place at the Garden. However, when mother nature dials, we can't just put her on hold. The current bathroom situation leaves many visitors scurrying to find another solution outside the Garden’s gates.

Create inclusivity

By providing a wheelchair accessible porta-john, barriers will dissolve. Those few extra feet of space allow people to remain in the Garden longer and more comfortably.  By providing more porta-john space, parents and caregivers can better assist potty-training toddlers and wheelchair users can more easily maneuver.

As fresh as flowers

Porta-johns don't have to be stinky, grimy, or dark. You can provide a clean, fresh, well-stocked restroom experience at Ithaca Children's Garden with the gift of weekly servicing and frequent summer cleanings.

Thank you for being the hero

From inside Ithaca Children's Garden, you can swing the gates a few inches wider. You can slay the dung dragon and rid the Garden of urination deprivation. You are the hero who, beneath the reading tree and among the wildflowers, allows the magic of the outdoors to linger a little longer, extending the play, laughter, and discoveries awaiting each visitor. Thank you.
