WestConn Swimming

The 2018-2019 season has been historic in that it is the first season of the Men’s Swimming & Diving Team. The newly created men’s team joins a well-established women’s team that has been around for almost 25 years.

Between the two teams this current season has garnished a dozen Little East Conference (LEC) and New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Swimmer, Rookie Swimmer and Diver of the Week accolades. With championships rapidly approaching we are looking to build off this seasons dual meet success and aim to reach 100% personal best times.  Outside of the pool both teams are successful in the classroom having earned the College Swim Coaches of America Scholar All-America Team Award this past fall and naming eight colonials to the NEISDA Fall All-Academic Team.

With the addition of the Men's team we are looking to FINALLY purchase a much needed record board for the O'Neill Center Natatorium. Please know that any small gift you are able to contribute helps to recognize all the hard work and dedication of all the former and current swimmers and divers that have been a part of the WestConn swimming & diving history! In addition to the record board, we are looking to supplement the cost of our 2020 Winter Training Trip and any necessary equipment throughout the season.
