The Utah Infertility Resource Center (UIRC) is a new 501(c)3 non-profit in Utah. UIRC’s mission is to provide support, education, and awareness to Utah’s infertility community. UIRC was founded in September of 2015 by five women who have yearned to be mothers for many years, each understanding the deep pain of infertility.
1 in 8 couples struggle with infertility. This can be one of the most debilitating, difficult things people deal with in their lifetimes. This is an especially difficult struggle here in Utah given the family focused culture. When couples begin struggling to conceive, they don’t know where to turn for support and information. They feel completely alone and lost.
UIRC bridges the gap for these struggling families. We offer services such as support groups across the state, educational consultations, counseling, and educational events to support the infertility community. We will also bring awareness to those who don’t know about infertility through online awareness, community events, and advocacy. We believe UIRC will fill an important need in our community. We are excited about the chance to make a real difference in the lives of those struggling to build their families.
We need a solid financial base so we can serve the emotional and social needs of the infertility community in Utah for years to come. We invite you to join with us in our cause by helping us raise initial funds for UIRC. Your tax-deductible donations will directly impact those who are deeply yearning to build their families.
