The needs in our community have already begun to shift. With calls for rent and utility assistance increasing, UWVP continues to respond. By partnering with key organizations across the community, we have infused emergency financial assistance into our current human services network to keep people and families in their homes. As distributors of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, United Way is responsible for administering community grant funding to local Virginia Peninsula non-profit agencies as well as disseminating donor directed funds to other communities affected and in need during this time.
