Niagara University Theatre faces new and continuing challenges from the significant impact to the arts caused by the coronavirus pandemic. From the moment we closed the doors to the Leary Theatre in the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre for the welfare of our patrons and students, NU Theatre has discovered creative and innovative ways to meet these challenges. Adherence to health and safety protocols, while still providing meaningful performance opportunities, has stretched our imaginations as well as our financial resources. But the arts remain critical to educating the whole person, whether performer or audience member, and we are committed to perseverance. Now, more than ever, funding is critical to support our objective for providing a world class education for our students as well as a fully professional experience for our patrons.Your support will contribute to our top priorities:
- Continued and expanded safety and welfare of students, faculty and patrons
- Recruiting dedicated, talented performers
- Up to date equipment in the shops: scenic, costume, lighting, & sound
- Cross-disciplinary initiatives for campus-wide engagement
Thank you for your support of NU Theatre. We’re here for you.
