Arts Education

A fundraising campaign for Rochester Broadway Theatre League

Opening Hearts, Inspiring Minds, Igniting Imaginations.

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) is committed to education – both in and out of the classroom. Many students in RBTL’s Arts Education Programs are from Rochester’s most under-resourced schools. Last year, we were able to impact the lives of more than 8,000 students in the greater Rochester area.

RBTL’s Arts Education program empowers students from the Rochester region through dynamic theater education. Prior to each performance, a RBTL teaching artist engages students in interactive workshops that explores issues and themes at the core of the production. Students attend the production having an understanding and appreciation of what they are about to experience. Many of the youth who take part in our programs have never experienced a Broadway production nor entered the theatre prior to this opportunity.

With generous community support, we can continue to provide our active outreach and cultural education programs to more at-risk youth. Please consider making a generous year-end gift of $50.00 or more to RBTL's Arts Education Program to ensure our nationally-recognized, award winning programs continue to be available for students throughout the greater Rochester area. The first $5,000 in contributions will be matched by the Glover Crask Charitable Trust. Any amount will have a significant impact on students and would be appreciated.

There is nothing like seeing the excitement, inspiration and joy on the faces of children whose lives are transformed by RBTL’s Arts Education Programs. Making those special moments possible is our passion and mission. We are deeply honored by your consideration of our request.

Sincerely,

John Parkhurst

Chief Operating Officer
