The Women's Business Center

The LiftFund Women's Business Center is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, especially women and minorities.

A fundraising campaign for LiftFund

Did you know that the fastest growing segment of startup small businesses is women, and minority women? Despite this, they also struggle to find resources and capital to grow their business whether they're a startup or not. That is why LiftFund hosts the Women’s Business Center (WBC), in partnership with the SBA.

The WBC is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, especially women and minorities. We work with hundreds of women and men, starting them on a pathway to financial and business success. Take Veronica Morales, owner of The Social Being, a digital marketing and events management firm.

Veronica wasn't a startup, but sometimes she felt she was starting from ground zero, even with her experience. She realized she needed support to grow her business the right way. Veronica's LiftFund loan enabled her to expand her business, and working with the WBC team on goal setting and budgeting helped her feel more confident about her business decisions and her goals.  In 2016, she applied for the Launch Center business incubator program with the WBC. Veronica also received a $5,000 grant from the Westside Development corporation for equipment and has paid off her loan with LiftFund.

It truly takes a village to support small business. Join us by donating to LiftFund to support the Women’s Business Center and clients like Veronica.
