Tent for Lent Challenge

The Give a Tent for Lent challenge enables churches and their congregations to give back during Lent by providing a home to a family in need.

Churches from across the nation can take part in the Give a Tent for Lent challenge by raising $500 or more this Lent. This amount is equivalent to the cost of a ShelterBox tent and will help us provide emergency shelter and household supplies to families displaced by disaster or conflict.

Here are a few ways to get started raising funds:

• Hold Lent lunches
• Collections
• Coffee Mornings
• Bake Sales, Rummage Sales, etc.
• Inspire us with your ideas

All funds raised will help us to provide tents, Shelter Kits, and other essential aid items, such as solar lights, water filters, blankets, cook-sets, mosquito nets, and more.

The support we have received from Christian groups over the past twenty years has contributed to our ability to help millions of people to recover and rebuild after disaster or conflict.
