Tabor Community Services and Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP) are working harder than ever to assist our community that is facing loss of income and an uncertain future. We remain committed to helping clients rebuild their lives and strengthen the Lancaster community. All donations will be used to sustain vital programs and services in housing, rent assistance, counseling, eviction prevention, emergency shelter, and financial coaching during this COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Many of our staff are working remotely from their homes providing coaching, case management and education for people on how to use their finances wisely and get and keep their housing. We have staff working on site at TLC providing shelter and support for individuals and families that were experiencing homelessness and our homeless outreach worker continues connecting with people living on the streets each day, guiding them to services, including testing for COVID-19 when appropriate.

We realize that this may not be an ideal time to seek donations. Our regular Tabor fundraising activities have been disrupted. With this Giving Day, we are seeking support to ensure we can continue playing a pivotal role in delivering our programs and services to help our community.

LHOP and Tabor Community Services recently announced plans to merge our organizations, and the pandemic has strengthened our primary purpose for working together- better serving our clients and the community. For that reason, while the merger has not been finalized, we are working together to request support.
