As you may be aware, Hurricane Ida caused devastating damage to South Louisiana where it made landfall Sunday, August 29th. Swire Energy Services' bases in both Houma and Port Fourchon, Louisiana faced the storm head on. More importantly, our team members, as well as countless others who live in the area are now left with damaged homes and no power, water, or gas. To add to the stress of having to evacuate or riding out the storm, the community is now faced with a lack of basic necessities as well as damages that will take months to get repaired. Others may not be able to return to work or school as a result of displacement.
Swire Energy Services has already made significant contributions of supplies to our team members, but there are still many in need in the community. If you would like to help, please donate to Bayou Community Foundation's Bayou Recovery Fund for Hurricane Ida Relief by giving on this donation page. Swire has graciously offered to match the total donated.
With your donation, Bayou Community Foundation is funding grants to local nonprofits that are providing relief and recovery services directly to residents of hard-hit Lafourche Parish, Terrebonne Parish and Grand Isle. With ONE gift, you will help MANY!
