Migraine and headache disorders don’t just affect adults; they impact millions of kids and teens, too. But too often, their pain is dismissed. They’re sent back to class, left out of activities, or told they’re being dramatic.
Sweet Relief is a simple way to help change that. Participants of all ages can set up a lemonade stand, bake sale, coffee table, garage sale, etc and raise awareness and funds for kids who live with this invisible pain.
All proceeds support The Headache Alliance’s programs and advocacy for children and teens living with headache disorders. That includes things like:
Fighting for more treatment options and pediatric research
Advocating for school accommodations under Section 504 and IDEA
Hosting youth workshops and trainings
Educating families on disability rights
Travel scholarships to attend Headache on the Hill
Our second annual Make Art, Make Headache Visible Youth Art Competition
You can help by:
Hosting your own Sweet Relief stand: We've got a toolkit to help you get started!
Donating a “Virtual Cup”
Sharing this campaign with friends and family
Let’s bring Sweet Relief to the millions of kids living with migraine and headache disorders together!
