Susanne Grossman, a dear friend, and colleague passed away on 10/3/2021. She was a brave, beautiful, and colorful presence in our midst who dedicated 17 years of service to Queensborough Community College in the Office of Career Services. She never failed to convey great empathy and concern for students, her colleagues, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.  

Susanne was a loving wife to Sam Grossman – they were married for forty-two years! And she was a devoted mother to Kate Davis and Zach Grossman, mother-in-law to Dani Davis and Bella Grossman, and a doting grandmother to Josh, Eva, Liam, and Henry Davis and Leo, Rafi, and Maddie Grossman.

To cherish Susanne’s memory, and to honor her life and commitment to Queensborough and student success, we invite family and friends to please donate to the Tree Fund so we can plant a tree on campus with a plaque bearing Susanne’s name. All remaining funds raised will be donated to the food pantry on campus.
