Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland Office of Migration and Refugee Services' Immigration Legal Services department is actively working with International Institute of Akron and ABLE to provide initial screenings and legal counsel for people who were detained in the workplace raids in Northern Ohio.

In addition, we always welcome support for our refugee program.

Why Donate

Due to the suddenness of the raids and geographical barriers, our organizations are in need of financial donations to cover unexpected expenses such as mileage, interpretation, a legal database to share information between organizations, and producing more hard copies of Know Your Rights booklets.
