The Family Resource Network, Inc. is a small non-profit in Oneonta, NY. The organization was founded by parents in 1994 to aid in connecting individuals to the resources that they need.

The Family Resource Network, Inc. Mission Statement:

Individuals with special needs deserve every opportunity to achieve their unique potential. The Family Resource Network was founded by parents to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs and their families, empowering them to lead productive independent lives within the community.

Our Purpose:

We want to make our community a better place through education and the enlisting of our citizens to bring services to those in need. We accomplish our mission through our core values.

We have been a vital part of our community for a number of years. We were founded to serve a growing segment of our community in need of inaccessible services. We have continued to grow with the help of our donors and volunteers that make our mission possible. Through all these years our purpose still remains the same: bring services to those in need.

The Family Resource Network, Inc. works hard to use the experiences and knowledge of families of persons with developmental disabilities, special health needs and other special needs, and to benefit these individuals by providing a coordinated, family-centered and community-based network of information, advocacy, resources, services, supports, and inscreased public awareness.

We have a plethora of different services that we provide, that are tailored to help families with varying special needs, all of which are free of cost to our families. With your donation we will be able to conitnue our mission and continue to provide the services that the families we work with need. Every donation helps.
