Literacy Works’ mission is to strengthen adult literacy, parent education, and workforce development programs by developing and providing innovative training and knowledge-sharing opportunities for professionals and volunteers.

This Giving Tuesday, Literacy Works' Associate Board has come together to raise $500. This would help 20 parents with low literacy gain strategies for helping their children become eager readers and curious learners in an Our Kids Learn workshop. Each family receives a new children's book to add to their home libraries.
