As we approach the June 30th close of our fiscal year, we ask for your support for student success -- both in and beyond the classroom.
This past year has been an incredible one at the College of Staten Island, culminating in the 2026 Commencement, where we proudly celebrated 2,247 graduates. Among them, 43% were the first in their families to graduate from college, and 77.6% relied on financial assistance — a powerful reminder of why donor support matters. Commencement is just the beginning of what CSI students go on to achieve.
We have also seen remarkable accomplishments across campus:
- CSI was recognized as a top performer in social mobility, helping students rise into the middle class and beyond
- The College earned designation as a leading research institution, expanding opportunities for student discovery and innovation
- CSI faculty were named among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, bringing world-class expertise into the classroom
- CSI was ranked among the top
colleges in the nation for women, reinforcing our commitment to
access and opportunity
These achievements are made possible because of a community that believes in our mission of access and academic excellence.
