Services such as the PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) program integrate rehabilitation, support, and clinical services into one plan that encourages participants’ goals and ambitions. Our residential intervention services Breakthrough II and Twin Oaks provide a structured living environment for persons recovering from mental illnesses and chemical dependency. Breakthrough II works directly with residents to support their transition back into the community, our staff works alongside clients to coordinate participation in daytime treatment and other community programs. Twin Oaks helps individuals develop the skills necessary to recognize and manage recovery symptoms, this 6 month program gives residents the strength to reenter the community in a positive and constructive manner.BHSN provides children and families with services ranging from counseling to foster care. Our Family Corner therapeutic foster care program serves children and youth who require individualized, intensive foster care services in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin counties. Therapeutic Foster Care caters to the physical, social, and emotional needs of
children and youth in a supportive family until the child’s family can be reunited or a permanent placement can be arranged. Unlike more restrictive services, The Family Corner is designed to serve as an alternative to residential treatment center or congregate care settings. Our program allows children to remain in the community while they are going through the treatment process. With 24 hour on call crisis support, children and families are never alone during the process. Through BHSN’s Respite Services Program, every child can expect to relax and enjoy youth centered activities in a well supervised and structured family setting. Respite allows the child to return home after everyone has experienced a refreshing break from day to day struggles.
