Giuliana's Playroom was founded to help promote childhood literacy, but when Hurricane Harvey struck in the two counties we cover, we couldn't ignore the losses of our community members. While emergency shelters are doing the best they can, there is not enough room for everyone and supplies are short.
Critical supplies like bed sheets, water, pet food, blankets, OTC pain medicine, baby wipes and diapers, socks, etc. We will be using funds to respond to immediate needs posted by area residents in shelters as they see them.
Please give and share this campaign. There are lots of local organizations doing the best they can, but they are not nimble enough or local enough to respond to each immediate need. Thank you.
