“Programs and interventions that engage families in supporting their children’s learning at home are linked to higher student achievement."
-A New Wave of Evidence, Dr. Karen Mapp, Director Institute for Responsive Information
The Parent Information Center (PIC), is a NH family organization that helps .... families each year to achieve positive outcomes in education with a focus on those with students who have disabilities and special healthcare needs. This is achieved through its partnerships with families, educators, youth, professionals and organizations. PIC offers statewide support by providing 1:1 consultation with parents, workshops for families, youth, school staff and administrators, and by distributing information, resources and materials.
The majority of these efforts are offered at no charge and your donation to this campaign gives us the ability to reach out to more families, and more school districts to provide education, build family-school partnerships, and support families from early intervention all the way to planning for life after high school.
If you, a loved one or a friend has ever needed support or education around school-related issues, please consider a pledge to our organization.
