The SPCA in Cattaraugus County, is a private, non-profit, no-kill charity animal shelter, and was founded in 1905. We are dedicated to saving the lives of animals, and providing adoption services for homeless and neglected animals.
Everyday there is another helpless animal in need of shelter, love and care. Sometimes we simply help a lost pet find their way home… but mostly we deal with animals much less fortunate. So many of the animals that come to us are in severe need of medical attention; they are dehydrated, starving, neglected, full of parasites, or worse. Animals are found cast aside as they have aged, their care becomes too costly, or their family has left them behind after moving away. We rescue these “cast away” dogs and cats. We rescue the abused, neglected animals reported to us.
No matter what
the reason or how the animal comes into our care, we are here for them, providing
shelter, care, medical attention and LOVE.
We are asking for your help. We need YOU to help us care for these animals. Please consider making a donation on this special day! #NYGives
YAY! You've made a difference!

Hey there!
Thanks again for supporting us at the SPCA! Volunteers are busy walking dogs and cuddling kittens right now, but there are plenty of animals left waiting for someone to visit with them. Perhaps you want to become a volunteer? Stop down and see all of us. You are always welcome!
