Smart Board for Children Who Are Blind

Help us purchase a portable Smart Board for our preschoolers who are blind and visually impaired to use in our five classrooms.

A fundraising campaign for Olmsted Center for Sight

Since its inception in 1907, Olmsted Center for Sight has served as the sole provider of blind and vocational rehabilitation services for the visually impaired population within the eight-county region of Western New York, and is guided by a mission to enable its clients to live as independently as possible in both their personal and professional lives.

By making a donation today you will help purchase a portable Smart Board and allow our students to have a multi-sensory learning experience.
One Smart board would be shared among our five classrooms of students.

Serving approximately 35 children who have visual impairments and/or other disabilities each year, the EEP program provides educational and essential ancillary services, including orientation and mobility training, occupational and physical therapy, and speech and language therapy to children age birth through five years. Designed to maximize each child’s potential to succeed in both school and life, instruction is delivered in two forms: group-based classroom learning and individualized one-on-one sessions.
