Our New Park in Shaw!

Help us create a safe, fun space for children to play, exercise, grow, and learn!

A fundraising campaign for Delta Hands for Hope

Help us build our park in Shaw

**Update: We met our goal for the fence! Now any funds raised will go toward a new playground structure with 6 swings and a tire swing. Can't wait to see the excitement on our children's faces!

Shaw, MS is a small, rural town in the middle of the Mississippi Delta. We have a great community, and lots of active kids who want a safe and fun place to play, hang out with their friends and family, and exercise. Delta Hands for Hope is partnering with the City of Shaw to create this space. We already have basketball goals, a gazebo, benches, and a playground. The next step is to install a fence surrounding the park to keep the children safe from the road, and to keep the park open with set daily hours.

Since starting this park a month ago, I haven't seen it empty. It is visited by kids of all ages, and is becoming quite the hangout place. Although there are several things we need, the fence is the top priority for safety. With the weather improving and summer coming up, this is going to be an even more frequently visited place. We need to make sure this place stays a safe, inviting place.

Please consider donating to improve our community by creating a safe place for all the children in Shaw to play, socialize, and learn.
