Shaun Jamel Smith is a former National Football League Defensive Linemen.
After playing college football at the Butler Community College (Wichita, KS) and University of South Carolina, he was first signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an Undrafted free agent in 2003.
During Smith's career he was also a member of the New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, , Tennessee Titans, and Kansas City Chiefs
After leaving the NFL, Shaun continued his college studies. On August 8th 2013 Shaun graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies. Shaun's passion in working with inner-city youth led him to create the 91 Ways Foundation.

Future Ready 91 Ways Program:
A Leadership and Character Building Curriculum that can easily be integrated into during,before, and after school programs. Future Ready uses research based practices and activities to address the needs of the " whole child." 91 Ways Future Ready Program's curriculum is based on the six dimensions of wellness; Physical, Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Occupational, and Spiritual.KaBOOM! :
KaBOOM! is a national non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring all kids get a childhood filled with the balanced and active play needed to thrive..
On September 16th, 2017 over 800 members of the Dallas community and 700 AT&T volunteers from 37 states gathered to build a new playground for residents of South Dallas/Fair Park. Shaun Smith joined the Park South YMCA, AT&T, and KaBOOM! to make this playground possible for kids and their families.
Operation Turkey Tailgate:
An annual Thanksgiving volunteer event that cooks and donates Turkey’s to shelters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Shaun Partnered with Operation Turkey November 23rd 2017 to feed over 4,000 homeless & less fortunate families and was features on News 8 Day Break, please see the link below:
