SFIAC Foundation's 2023 Annual Appeal

Your support will ensure that North Beach continues as the heart of the Italian community for generations to come.

2023 has been the SFIAC Foundation's biggest year yet!

In last year's inaugural appeal, we promised to focus on our strategic goal to elevate North Beach to new heights. We introduced five events including San Francisco's first ever Pizza, Bagel, and Beer Festival; our Festa Italiana and Statuto Race collaboration weekend; our first gala; and a cornhole tournament with the Olympic Club Foundation.

Our Mission: To strengthen the North Beach community and its businesses by sponsoring events that bring together family and friends through the Italian culture, language and history in which it was rooted, and by investing in issues and endeavors that elevate local commerce and create opportunities for North Beach to thrive.

Why You Should Donate: We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations help us run our programs and help us engage the community in all things Italian (culture, education, service, and celebration). Year round, we host events for families and community members to attend, most free of charge. We collaborate with local schools and organizations with Italian-language programs, as well as host our own language classes for adults. We invigorate and beautify the neighborhood of North Beach, paint the Italian flag on street poles and light up Sts. Peter and Paul Church with the tricolore flag, as well as host San Francisco's only Italian street fair.
