BCT OASIS brings children from family shelters into Brooklyn Children's Theatre's classes and helps expose them to all things musical theatre!
One way that we recruit new students is by showing them what we do!
This weekend, BCT's Teen Players are performing SHREK jr.
We would like to send two buses to three family shelters in Brooklyn to bring new families to our show. Not only would this be entertaining for the children and their parents (who doesn't love SHREK?) BUT it will also help introduce prospective students to BCT.
And THIS helps with our mission to bring children from all economic backgrounds together. We dream of a world where ALL children have access to an arts education. Thank you for helping to make this possible for NYC's children in need.
