SEF Annual Fundraiser

Help us support our students, our teachers, and our learning communities! Great schools make for a great community!

A fundraising campaign for Salem Education Foundation

Make an exponential difference

Spreading awareness is a great way to help support our cause.

At SEF we support teachers who inspire the students of Salem.  We've given over 550K in teacher grants since our inception 23 years ago, covering projects that are not funded in the regular district budget.   We continue to fund grants for teachers and have expanded our reach into the community.  We publish a biannual, bilingual newspaper to promote and disseminate the good things happening in SPS, sponsor a 5th grade bilingual spelling bee, and host annual education events.  We work with community partners such as the NSCDC for the annual polar plunge and partner with Greg Coles for our Salsa for the Schools program, bringing authentic Latin and African Dance and Drum into the schools.  As a board and staff, we are involved with many aspects of strategy and policy in the district.

We could not make it without all of our supporters and volunteers and we truly appreciate you.

Please keep an eye out for information regarding our First Annual Adult Spelling bee!
