A fundraising campaign for Saint Joseph Academy

Legacy

For 155 years, Saint Joseph Academy has been providing the children in our community with a quality, Catholic, Marist education. The Bloodhound network extends far and wide to all corners of the globe and the collective impact that our graduates have had at the local, state, national, and global levels is beyond noteworthy.

Success

Year after year, generations of compassionate, loving, global thinkers come out of Saint Joseph Academy and embrace their communities with amazing leadership skills and passion. Every year, Seniors graduate with a strong moral formation and get accepted into top universities such as Rice University, University of Notre Dame, Southwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas at Austin, Purdue University, Fordham University, Brandeis University, and Texas A & M just to name a few.

Compassion

Our community is built around compassion and belonging. We are a family. We stick together. We are one Bloodhound nation.

The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic have spared no region, industry, or educational institution—including Saint Joseph Academy. The pandemic has brought life to a standstill for many including some families that are now faced with financial adversities. These are indeed tremendously challenging and very difficult times for us all and at Saint Joseph Academy we see the need more than ever before to help our own.

As the pandemic spread, many events were cancelled. Among the many events that were either postponed or cancelled was our Saint Joseph's Day of Giving. This special day was designed as a day where everyone is encouraged to give back to St. Joe. Now, using the power of social media and our online peer to peer fundraising platform, everyone now has the opportunity to be part of a larger philanthropic movement to support Saint Joseph Academy's Emergency Relief Fund.

Classes and individuals can set up a unique fundraising page that can be shared with others across multiple social media platforms, text messaging, and emails. The goal? $50,000 raised by midnight on Saturday, June 6th - The Feast of Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

With so many of our current families needing assistance, we hope you will consider participating. We recognize that not everyone will be in a position to give at this time; if you are able to join us please know that 100 percent of your gift will directly benefit those students and families whose financial status has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The time to help is now.

Be part of something bigger this year.
