Return to School Resilience Initiative

A fundraising campaign for The Hartsbrook School

Meeting the School's Increased Costs in this Challenging Pandemic Environment

Hartsbrook School’s Return to School Resilience Initiative Continues

Help Us Raise the Final $27,724

We have raised a total of $272,276 as of 8/29/21 from the Return to School Resilience Initiative,

Now we need your help to reach our goal of $300,000 to cover the cost of imaginative and safe mostly-outdoors education to meet the challenges of educating children during a pandemic.

From the beginning, we have been inspired by

a Leadership Donor’s early matching gift.

"To the Hartsbrook School and its community,

"The challenges in the world right now put pressure on every person and every institution. Of course, this pressure affects the Hartsbrook School. I have been involved in the school in various ways for many years. I care about it deeply. I value its gifts to children and families. As we all grapple with the rigors of isolation, the teachers and staff do just the opposite. They work tirelessly to safely continue connection with each child, sharing, making, creating, all of which leads to exceptional learning. Each dedicated teacher and staff person gives so much of themselves.

"I am moved to act. These remarkable faculty and staff of Hartsbrook School should not have to sacrifice financially to help the school with its deficit. Compelled by these circumstances, I have made a gift of $100,000.

"I encourage everyone in the community to join collectively, in matching this gift, to reach the goal that Hartsbrook needs to thrive. Together, we will ensure a future for Hartsbrook, and honor the school's substance and soul.

"From a friend of Hartsbrook with love."

We had a new fund

that matched dollar-for-dollar

your individual gifts up to $10,000.

Since 3/15/21 we have raised much more than $10,000,

completing and exceeding the match!  Thank you all!
