Global Science & Envirotech, Inc. (GSET, Inc.) 137Cranston Street, Cranston, RI
02920
With the combined strengths and collaboration of eight people as an initial Board, GSET, Inc. was founded to improve community wellness in 2014 using science, technology, research, and development based on the book entitled “Critical Condition”. Since 2020, this process has promoted our STEAM+C (Science, Technology, Engineering, Additive, Mathematics, and Computers) curriculum into positive responses during COVID-19 in 2020, saving after-school STEM, and Social-Emotional growth during our yearly camp.
Our services combine Healthcare, Electronics, Horticulture, and Entrepreneurship. We transfer knowledge and skills among middle school to college students based on need, not ethnicity, at the Explorer Center.
The Additive Manufacturing Workforce Development Program (AMWD)
AMWD is centered on advancing Material, CAD, Bioelectric, and Electrolytic environmentally sustaining workforce projects supporting a "Talent Pipeline" process. Human health and the environmental sciences have guided our educational platform development, resulting in a STEAM+C blended curriculum. “Hands-On” skills, and social-emotional cues training for youth in health, safety, and environmental recognition that improves community stability, and preparedness.
Environmental Justice outlined in the book “Critical Condition” guides our projects! Material recycling and environmental evaluation results in health and safety integrated into job and career development through AMWD.
We developed our STEAM+C curriculum to anticipate job and career development
in 2017.
Most of our students are from under-represented ethnicities and low-income families and have no after-school programs within reasonable cost. This means that the community needs the services but is too poor to pay for these services. So, we offer services at a very discounted rate or free, supplementing our services with grants.
