Kern Around the Clock Foundation is dedicated to providing each client a quality of life with the appropriate level of care. Our Professional staff will assess the needs of each client to ensure that our program meets the clients home care needs, while maximizing their physical and mental potential in a compassionate and cost effective manner.
Our Caregiver Training and Assistance program is designed to assist caregivers who find themselves in the position of caring for family member or friend who is unable to care for them self. We never know when one will become ill,have a fall or be diagnosed with a terminal illness. When it happens it becomes the responsibility of our family and friends to help care for us. Many go into this journey with no experience or knowledge of what it takes to care for someone. For this reason the Caregiver Training and Assistance program exists. A simple phone call to Kern Around the Clock Foundation can provide a caregiver with many answers to their questions. Our program goes into the families home to train, counsel and offer support to caregivers. With all the attention going to patient the caregiver is often over looked and that is why we are here to offer support and education. Many times caregivers are unaware of services or programs available to them, our foundations goal is to make sure that we stay are up to date and educated about these community services, so that caregivers are not burdened by trying to find the answers on their own. This program is offered FREE of charge to Seniors (60+) who are residents of Bakersfield, Arvin and Lamont.
The Kern Around The Clock Foundation Payee Program appreciates donations. The donations can be monetary, non-perishable food items, clothes and/or hygiene products. We serve such a sensitive population where a little, goes a long way. Claimants on fixed incomes, including those who are homeless, face many challenges every day. Here at KATCF, we strive to collect donations to better help assist the ones in need. There are various age groups within the Payee Program. We manage funds from toddlers to the elderly. With your donation, we offer a donation letter to those who make a contribution to be used for tax-deductible purposes.
