Public Interest Law Association (PILA) Fundraiser

PILA aims to place our fellows on the path to success by providing financial assistance to students engaging in unpaid public interest summer internships.

A fundraising campaign for CUNY School of Law

The Public Interest Law Association (PILA) is a student-run organization that throws an annual fundraising gala to provide summer fellowships to our law students. These fellowships allow our students to pursue summer public interest legal internships, which are typically unpaid.

Each year, PILA's gala honors individuals whose legal career demonstrates a steadfast dedication and commitment to the public interest legal field. On April 20, 2018, PILA is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary at Manny Cantor Center. We hope that you can either join us or support us in our mission.

Thank you for your support.

About the Organization

Students come to study at CUNY School of Law, the premier public interest law school, because they want to change the world. The money we raise enhances student learning and fulfills the school’s mission of graduating outstanding public interest attorneys and enhancing the diversity of the legal profession.
