Periods don't stop for pandemics. That's why Girls Inc. of the Valley is launching Project Red: to supply 500 girls in the Valley with a 4 month supply of menstrual products. Access to these products has been challenging due to COVID-19, as many girls relied on schools or after-school programs for their menstrual product needs.
Girls Inc. of the Valley is holding a supply drive on 5/28/20, Menstrual Hygiene Day. We are accepting monetary donations via this site, as well as new, unopened donations of the following items:
▪️ Menstrual pads with wings (cotton preferred) ▪️ Toothbrushes ▪️ Toothpaste ▪️ Deodorant ▪️ Body wash/bars of soap **Please note: While we appreciate your generosity, donations of supplies other than the ones listed above will not be accepted. Donations that are opened or damaged will also not be accepted** Donations can be dropped off at the Girls Inc. of the Valley headquarters at 6 Open Square Way in Holyoke on 5/28 from 12-6 p.m. We are offering contact-less, curbside drop off.
