Pass the Mic: Invest in SI's only FM Radio Station

Give Back to the Place That Gave You a Voice

A fundraising campaign for College of Staten Island

Since 1981, WSIA 88.9FM has provided students at the College of Staten Island with a place to learn, create, and lead. What began as a couple of students wanting to play music to the cafeteria evolved into Staten Island's only FM radio station, serving both the campus and wider community while offering hands-on experience in broadcasting, media production, marketing, event management, and leadership.

Today, WSIA continues to be a launching pad for student success. Our members gain real-world experience operating a licensed radio station, producing live programming, organizing community events, and developing the professional skills that prepare them for a broad variety of careers in media and beyond.

To continue providing these opportunities, WSIA relies on modern equipment, ongoing technical maintenance, and professional development opportunities for our students. Contribution to the WSIA Operations Fund help us upgrade aging technology, maintain our broadcast infrastructure, support student training, and expand opportunities for students to attend conferences, workshops, and industry events.

Your gift is more than a donation to a radio station; it is an investment in student growth, creativity, leadership, and community engagement. Every contribution helps ensure that future generations of CSI students have access to a safe, collaborative, and innovative environment where they can discover their voices and share them with the world.

Join us in keeping WSIA strong for the next generation and ensuring that Staten Island's only FM continues to educate, entertain, and inspire for years to come.
