Women’s Center of Nevada has been selected as “pop up stars” contestants

In December of 2018, our Research Director signed us up for the Popup Star competition. This competition is to spread awareness to the importance of clinical research. Why are clinical trials so important? With these trials, people are able to participate in with the hopes of finding a cure or the right medication in order to help treat serious medical conditions from insomnia to breast cancer. Having these trials, people are helping finding the cure. Clinical trial awareness and participation remain in a critical state with less than 4% of the population participating. In hopes of spreading the word of clinical trials and finding more participants, the Pop-up Star Competition was created.

The Women's Center of Nevada has partnered up with Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy, Center for Sight, Huntridge Family Clinic, Silverstone Research, Clinical Research Consortium, Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy, Las Vegas Endocrinology, and Clinical Research Center of Nevada. With there help we are hoping to spread awareness to clinical trials and hopefully have the Las Vegas community more involved with research trials.
