Local Help for COVID-19

Help us meet the needs of our most vulnerable populations in our local community during the COVID-19 crisis.

A fundraising campaign for Catholic Charities of Steuben

We are so grateful to our community and everyone who has reached out to us to ask how they can help. Our rural community has been hit exceptionally hard by the COVID-19 crisis. Our most vulnerable people need your help. Your donation will go to deploy resources to meet the immediate needs of economically vulnerable populations caused by COVID-19 related closures (access to food, shelter, clothing, childcare, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, etc.). Your support of Catholic Charities of Steuben will bring hope to those who need it most!

Who will you be helping?

Our Turning Point clients who rely on us for healthy food to feed their families, transportation, financial assistance and basic needs support. Many of whom are elderly and can't manage without weekly assistance.

Our families who rely on us for childcare, parenting support and healthy family functioning.

Our Substance Abuse & Prevention programs, who need us now more than ever, to help them manage through scary and uncertain times.

Thank you in advance for helping us help our families avoid further crisis. We are in this together, and we will get through these uncertain times together.

About the Organization

Catholic Charities of Steuben

Catholic Charities of Steuben's mission is to build communities that care for all people by strengthening and enriching the quality of life for individuals, families, and children; working to reduce poverty; and advocating for social justice.

We accomplish our mission through 3 service priorities:
1. Turning Point poverty services work to alleviate poverty using a mobile approach to meet people where they are in the community.
2. Kinship Family & Youth services promote healthy child development and healthy family functioning.
3. Substance Free Living services work to prevent and treat substance abuse.
