A fundraising campaign for Ten Thousand Villages -Williamsville

For some thirty years, Ten Thousand Villages Western New York located in Williamsville, NY, a locally supported non-profit retail store has brought the products and stories of our international artisan partners to Western New York. We are committed to continuing our mission of providing sustainable income to over 130 artisan groups around the world.

Being a retail store, it is essential we have an up-to-date technology systems to support our social business. Donations we receive from our, Registers for a Reason Campaign will ensure we can continue our mission of bringing income to those in need.

Your donation allows for thousands of people internationally earn an income and provide for their families. They receive business management skills and donate a percent of what they make back into their communities. They can continue to carry on the traditional craft work of their countries and live in dignity. Without this support, many would be obligated to work in exploitive industries or be unemployed.

Dolores, featured here with her finely beaded medallion necklace is from the artisan group Creaciones Chonita in Guatemala.
