Nepantla is a four-year holistic program that is leading the way in Nevada System of Higher Education by providing access to first-generation college students who otherwise may not have the opportunity to achieve a college education.
Nepantla at its core focuses on creating a strong sense community through mentorship, empowerment, and academic readiness. During their four-year journey, students will have a support system to encourage self-determination, social justice consciousness and empowerment. In turn we expect students to return to their communities and provide the same type of opportunities to youth with similar backgrounds. Nepantla aims to prepare its students to become agents of change to improve their communities.
