A Vision for Continued Nature Access for All

Support the future of Primitive Pursuits

    Dear Families,

The mission of the Primitive Pursuits experience could never be more relevant and needed than it is right now. With hope in our hearts, we stand by our vision for an amazing summer unfolding, with awe-inspiring adventures that lift our hearts and minds and prepare our children for the future.

Will you stand with us? Will you support the very survival of Primitive Pursuits, as you know it, by signing up for the adventure?

With the help of federal stimulus money and some temporary staff reductions, we are getting by. We are continuing to develop online nature mentoring programs and making contingency plans for what comes next. Summer camps are happening with a lot of new protocols and adjustments!

We could use your support right now!

If you do not have kids to send to camp, please support the kids in your community that need time in nature in order to be healthy, competent earth citizens of the future. Make a donation and help spread the word for our fundraiser!

More than ever, kids need connection to each other, kids need kinship with a living, thriving earth and they need support connecting to their best self – full of curiosity, wonder and well-being. That is the work of Primitive Pursuits.

We urge you to hold out hope with us; that the need for social distancing will pass, and we will be free to run in the woods together again, learning, exploring and feeling truly alive.

As a team of passionate nature enthusiasts and caring mentors, we spent many weeks this past fall creating our vision for summer. We designed programs to serve the needs of your kids growing up strong and capable in a quickly changing world. We hope you remember our faces now as the people you trust to carry this vision for our children. We hope you see our passion for the work we do and are inspired to support us in this most critical time.

We are here for you – for your kids! Thank you in advance for considering how to be here for us!

      With gratitude,

Take note of Section 2204 of the new Charitable Giving Incentive which creates a new above-the-line deduction (universal or non-itemizer deduction that applies to all taxpayers) for total charitable contributions of up to $300. The incentive applies to cash contributions made in 2020 and can be claimed on tax forms next year. The law also lifts the existing cap on annual contributions for those who itemize, raising it from 60 percent of adjusted gross income to 100 percent.
