Nashua Area Artists Association ArtHub

Inspiring lifelong learning, empowering the individual and engaging the community of all ages in the creative arts.

A fundraising campaign for Nashua Area Artists' Association

The Nashua Area Artists’ Association’s (NAAA) ArtHub Gallery, located at 30 Temple Street (Finlay Building) provides space for visual arts exhibits, classes and demos for artists and emerging artists. The membership includes artists from many cities/towns in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  Members display their art in the gallery, rotating exhibits every two months.  Fifty to eighty artists participate in each exhibit with four hundred to five hundred items of art (paintings, prints, greeting cards, jewelry and 3D pieces) being displayed for appreciation and sale.

The diverse ethnic population of the Greater Nashua Area is reflected by the NAAA’s membership.  Approximately twenty of the NAAA members were born in other countries around the world and several members were born in states across the United States.  The artistic diversity is impressive and very pleasing to see.

In the past year the ArtHub received a grant from the NH Charitable Foundation for ArtHub technology equipment.  This grant provided the capability to enhance the art displays and gallery operation.  The gallery is now open four days per week (four hours per day) using volunteers.  We have also been able to open the gallery for special events (NH Open Doors, Downtown Nashua festivals, art walks, holiday strolls).

NAAA member artists have a display of art at the Pheasant Lane Mall, Nashua City Hall, area libraries and various businesses.  The NAAA is committed to community outreach by working with and supporting other local arts groups in their effort to make the City of Nashua and the surrounding communities a destination for the arts.
