Ride the scenic Monarch Crest Trail and raise money to help victims of domestic and sexual violence.

A fundraising event for The Alliance

Event Information

Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 8:00am - 4:00pm

Join us for the 2019 Monarch Crest Crank on Sunday, September 22!

A great ride for an even greater cause!

Your participation - as a rider, a virtual rider or donor - in this unique fundraiser benefits The Alliance, a nonprofit organization based in Salida, Colorado, that provides crisis intervention, support and emergency shelter for adult and child victims of domestic violence in Chaffee County. Proceeds support The Alliance in its mission to empower individuals to move beyond sexual assault and domestic violence.

The Monarch Crest Crank is your opportunity to experience the epic scenery and outstanding single track riding of the Monarch Crest Trail, with a bunch of extra benefits!

Registration is $85 and includes the ride, a guide, a shuttle to and from downtown Salida, a goody bag, and a post-ride party in Riverside Park, featuring free lunch, libations, live music, games for prizes and more!

We encourage riders to raise at least $100 in additional donations to support The Alliance. It's easy to do via the peer-to-peer fundraising platform (more details below). Participants who raise $200 or more will get cool prizes - check out the options on the Fundraising Prizes page.

There are many ways to make an impact during the Monarch Crest Crank

  • Individual Rider - Ride one of the top mountain bike trails in the nation!

  • Form a Team - Gather a group of friends, family members or colleagues to join forces in raising funds and participate.

  • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising - Everyone who registers as a rider or virtual rider or who donates is sent an email with instructions on how to launch your own fundraising page. It's super easy to do this (most of the content is already there for you). We even make it easy to share your fundraiser via email and social media!

  • Virtual Rider - Can't make it to the event, but still want to participate? Become a virtual rider! This is a great option if you want to be part of a team, but can't physically be at the event

  • Donate - Contribute financially to The Alliance, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3). All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated!

Whether you can ride the Monarch Crest Crank with us or help in other ways, we appreciate your support!

We can't do it without you!
