Arts education is an equalizer that gives kids in our community, all kids, the skills that help them flourish. In the studios of MoCo Arts the children of physicians and high tech executives learn, grow and transform alongside the children of minimum wage workers; confident academic achievers dance, sing and train next to those who struggle with school but thrive in movement; differences are erased; movement and joy takes its place.
MoCo Arts is currently finishing construction of a new arts education facility on the site of a distressed downtown building, the old YMCA, revitalizing a key piece of property just steps from Keene’s vibrant Central Square. When complete, the transformed MoCo Arts will be bigger and better. When complete, the transformed MoCo Arts will serve more students, offer more programs and host more performances. When complete, the transformed MoCo Arts will have a sustainable, deep presence in Keene's downtown.
