Support Independent Nonprofit Journalism

MLK50: Justice Through Journalism carries on the vision of Martin Luther King Jr. and Ida B. Wells-Barnett by reporting on poverty, power and policy.

A fundraising campaign for MLK50: Justice Through Journalism

No "both sides" journalism: We put the most vulnerable people first.

MLK50: Justice Through Journalism is a different kind of newsroom. Our Black women-led nonprofit digital news outlet in Memphis focuses on the intersection of poverty, power and policy. We examine the systems that make it hard for workers to make ends meet and interrogate those who profit from the status quo.

We put the most vulnerable people first. That includes workers, women, immigrants, the LGBTQ community and anyone who has been marginalized.

Your support allows us to continue this work. Will you give today?
