Mission Milestone Investment

A fundraising campaign for Chimbote Foundation

Help build a new medical clinic and expand home visits by nurses to provide critical healthcare to the thousands of poor in Chimbote, Peru.

The Chimbote Foundation’s Mission

The Chimbote Foundation was created to provide a bridge of love, hope, faith and financial support to care for the poorest of the poor in Chimbote through the Center for Social Works – a maternity hospital, outpatient clinic, clinical laboratory, pharmacy and home for abandoned and neglected children – serving hundreds of thousands since the mid-1960s.

Dramatic Mission Expansion Underway

Replacing the original outpatient clinic is the centerpiece of the Mission Milestone Investment (MMI) plan.   Demolition of the existing 40-year-old clinic and the construction of a brand new facility will increase the patient capacity by five times over the original building. The modern, expanded clinic will boast ten clinical suites – up from four – and include space for new and expanded services, such as cardiology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, gerontology and audiology. This new investment will provide an onsite radiology and mammography suite, allowing these treatments to finally be provided to the poor of Chimbote.
